It was a Saturday afternoon, and also Clarhyssa's big day. Today, she had turned 18, officially stepping into the boat of adulthood. 

Per her request, her birthday was celebrated at her grandpa's home with just a few important figures, friends, and some members of her affiliated guild. 

She didn't want an extra-large gathering for her birthday. Just a sizable number of people she knew. 

At the spelling of her beautiful name, she blew out all the candles, and everyone applauded.  She ate a bit of cake and fed some to her parents and grandparents, amidst the others' cheers.
