Freya’s P.O.V

My eyes flew open as my heart hammered hard against my chest and my breath came in ragged gasps. I could feel the sticky sweat that clung to my head as small whimpers left my mouth. 

I had just woken up from a nightmare. 

In my nightmares, I had seen Celeste looming over me while gripping a knife. For a weird reason, darkness loomed over me as I fisted the blanket, and at that moment, all the memories that had been locked in the corners of my heart occupied my thoughts.
