My gaze lingered on the gift box that Julie had given to me. The more I stared at it, the more I wondered what could be inside and why there was a strain between her and Enzo’s relationship. What could have happened between them?

Just as I was about to get lost in my thoughts, a hand rested on my shoulder, yanking me back with so much force. Before I could process things, my back slammed against the wall and right before me was a furious Enzo with eyes blazing with fury.
