I was having a conversation with Nigel, apologizing for what had happened since Thorne left my side abruptly, claiming that he wanted to check on something. My instinct had nudged me to follow him but I didn't and just before Nigel could leave, an ambulance was driven in and Thorne emerged from the path that led to the dungeon.
