ORLANDA stirred awake from her light nap, her body still heavy but feeling somewhat restored. The lingering grogginess from the medication faded as she slowly sat up, brushing strands of her hair away from her face. The subtle ache that had settled into her muscles earlier was now less prominent. She exhaled deeply, realizing the rest and nourishment had done her some good.
