THE phone rang out in the silence of the room, drifting into Orlanda's ears. She was trying to have a nap that afternoon.

Mumbling some incoherent words under her breath, she sat up and reached out for the phone. It was Flourish calling.

She sighed and picked it up.

"Flourish?", she called.

"Hey, where are you?", Flourish rasped into the phone, startling Orlanda and she sat up properly.

"What is it? Why are you sounding like there is an emergency?", she asked, cleaning her eyes with the back of her left palm.

"Of course, there is. There is an emergency. You are at home right?", she asked and Orlanda nodded...
