Caspian's words kept replaying in Julia's mind as she walked back to her department to work, just as he had commanded her to. With her eyes downcast, she held the same document she had carried to his office in the first place.

Julia was both sad and broken. She regretted, at some point, even going into his office, trying to find out what had really happened.

Trying to find out why he had been ignoring her in the first place. As she headed back, a thousand questions lingered in her mind, with no definite answer to any of them.
