The good part of it was that I had my respect intact and the other part, I couldn't help but feel that sense of humor that was fading away in my heart at the fact that all of these things were getting at me and I needed to bring it to a stop .

Much as I was trying to avert it , it made sense that all of these couldn't necessarily be stopped, I could feel that sense that she was starting to see me as a man that could be ridiculed and trust me I was trying so hard to stop it from happening.
