I had tried to pretend for as long as I could that how Vance had been moving wasn't getting to me but I couldn't. I watched him walk in all smiley and happy from Who Knows Where on the oddest of days, and it only raised my suspicion.

I watched that happen two times. Two fucking times. I really wished it was my brain playing games with me, but it wasn't.
