This storm had come on suddenly. It didn’t sit well with me, making me uneasy. I wasn’t sure what to think.

No one could be heard or seen. I had no idea where my pack was. Or where the kids were.

Looking around again, I ran a hand through my hair in frustration. Grumbling to myself, I wished that this could just be over. These fucking tests were so annoying. Didn’t the other test we did last time mean something? The trial had been difficult. Beyond difficult.
