Daniel could not think of anything good that'll justify Rose's attitude towards him.

"She dropped the ring." He said to himself and looked at the ring she dropped on the dinning table.

Meanwhile while Rose was already in front of the room door, she stood there and broke down. She started crying. That was the only way she could show she has been hiding a lot in her.
