"But...what does Abbadon have to do with all this?" I then asked, staring at him with a hint of curiosity.

He slowly lowered his gaze on the floor, looking obviously conflicted as he quietly answered,

"She...thinks of you as a threat...

So, this means she would team up with anyone that wants to hurt you."

"But why...why would she consider me a threat?" I then asked, watching how he slowly raised his gaze back on me, his deep blue irises now swirling with a burning emotion as he quietly replied,

"She...suspects that I...have feelings towards you..."
