I look up instantly, staring at the doctor’s face. He’s being truthful. I can read it in his mind. He knows I’m… pregnant.

I’m… what…?

“You don’t know this too, don’t you?” Carter turns to me, noticing the shock on my face.

I look down at my stomach and my hand goes to feel the skin. It may sound crazy, but I do feel something! There’s a presence of life in there, I can tell!

In the midst of the chaos, I completely forgot about the test. And now I know the answer… I am… pregnant!
