“Sav?” Juju asks, peeking his head into the office.

“You okay?” Lexy follows, coming right behind him.

I let out a long sigh and shake my head. Juju and Lexy quickly rush over to me, pulling me into a hug.

“What’s wrong?” Juju asks.

“Just everything,” I say, pressing my face into his chest. “This whole dinner is an epic fail. I almost gave my dad a heart attack and Carter kissed me out of nowhere—”

“He did what?!” Juju and Lexy gape in unison.

“It happened so fast, I didn’t get a chance to react!” I sigh in exasperation, putting my hands over my face....
