I got the pain killers and went back to my room, checking on Micah he had his eyes closed, and his breathing was even, but he wasn't asleep, he was pushing the pain away, it's similar to meditation, deep breaths, stable heartbeat, ignoring the pain. I went toward the bed, I got a hoodie bunched it up and placed it under his injured leg, trying to find him some kind of relief.
