My nervous feeling was met with the sound of a car pulling into my street. The bright lights of Nick's car was the only thing I could see. Dad placed a lasting kiss on my head before leaving with kate.

Nick successfully parked his car on my drive and stepped out, I was right he was dressed up in his suit, no doubt he just came from work.

"Get inside" He called as he walked up to me. He pressed his fingers to my cheek.

I groaned internally and led the way into my home.

All I could hear was the sound of his coat dropping to the table...
