“I don’t
understand!”
I rolled my
eyes at Aeon as he throws the book down on the table, lying down on the earth–his
platinum blond hair in contrast with the dark soil, his purple eyes squinted as
he looks up at the cloudless sky. Birds squawked as they fly up the clouds, startled
of Aeon’s loud voice as he disturbed the silence only the field can provide for
