CAELUM

The field dissolves back to the front doors of the Manor,

the gloomy sky looming above us. I pushed open the door and quickly headed to

the kitchen, my thoughts still in disarray as I snatched a bottle of water from

the fridge.

“Oh! You’re here…I am about to finish.” Rubin stated as she

stirred the pan and tossed the egg on a plate. I settled down on a seat and

observed her as she makes her way to where I am sitting.
