CAELUM

The dome is only a dark shadow with a dim blue background,

looming large and menacing from afar. Rubin tightened her hands on mine as I

plunge a hand in the thick tangle of vines, smiling as the two of us was

swallowed inside.

I’m glad that Rubin can still access the dome with me even

if she is a human now.

I guess, she isn’t entirely human.

She shivered next to me and I sigh, sitting down on one of

the carousels and watching her as she puts her hand on top of it.
