Pacing around the room, Leona read the letter for what seemed like the fifth time. Knowing Eric and how much he worshipped his mother, this was something that would destroy him emotionally and mentally. He had spent his whole life loathing his father. His mother had said enough unkind words concerning his father. Supposedly most mother's did so, driven by anger and wanting pay the father back in spades. It would be in the best interest of a maddened mother to turn the child against their father.
