"Why won't she give in? What else does she want from me? Is my confession not enough for her?!" I vented, driving back to the mansion with speed.

I almost bumped into a few vehicles on my way, but I didn't care if anyone gets hit. I'm just so mad and frustrated!

Getting back to the mansion, a guard came up to me to pass a message from my mother. "The Queen would like you to come and see her in the chamber, Alpha," he shared, following me from behind.

"Fine," I responded, hurrying up the stairs.

But the guard kept following me.
