Knock! Knock!

A tap sounded at the bedroom door, followed by a voice.

"Can I come in?".

Natalie had noticed that Bailey had been in the bedroom all day, without stepping out to eat something.

She also heard the little argument between her employer and his wife but didn't quite catch the reason why they argued.

She stood outside the door, with a tray of some homemade cookies, and a cup of hot chocolate, waiting for Bailey to open the door so she could serve her the meal.

The clicking of the door lock opened, and the knob turned and Natalie was granted access into the room.
