It had been two days. Two goddamned days and the bureau leader hadn't reached out to me. I expected him to have sent his messenger to me yesterday but I didn't see anyone.

I had stayed at the window all through the day, watching everyone coming towards the apartment but didn't see anyone. No one had knocked on the even though I had told him I was staying here.
