Why Mrs. Morrow instead of Caden Morrow?

Gladys asked herself as she stood up from the bed. "Is everything alright?"

"How am I supposed to know." Mrs. Morrow replied watching Gladys wear her footwear.

"You aren't going to greet your soon-to-be mother-in-law, dressed that way." Her mother said with Gladys huffing at the mention of mother-in-law, although she knew her mother didn't mean that word.

She walked closer to her wardrobe, opening it and bringing out a blue jacket.

She wore it to cover her singlet as she zipped it, and stopped at her chest.
