He strolls further into the office silently, shoving his hands into his pocket and staring at the desk where my hands now are on the document. “Let me guess,” he places his finger to his chin, pretending to be thinking. “You just discovered that all the company’s money is gone.”
I frown at his words, and I get up from my seat. Keenan is not involved in the affair or the running of my company, so how does he know something is wrong? And most importantly, how does he know something is wrong at this very moment?
