His mouth goes into an ‘o’ sigh and gives me frightened eyes. “Aww, someone’s not happy to see me.” He pouts with big blue eyes.
“You’re drunk on the street. Do you know his much trouble you are getting yourself into?” I snap before I can help myself.
“I want to feel good.” He answers pitifully, and he walks towards the car park.
“There are a thousand and one ways to feel good, dummy!”
His eyes spark in reaction. “I’m not a dummy.” Although drunk, I know my name-calling has gotten to him and is affecting him.
