"You're taking all the fun out of it, but I'll agree to that," Sean said, laughing.

"Then call him up and ask, and tell him he doesn't have to if it's too painful for him."

He kissed me and called Quinn. I knew he had his number, but he's probably had it since Quinn first contacted him about his adoption. I didn't want to read too much into that.
