"You don't have to fly me back," I chuckled as my feet touched the ground of the forest, and he landed there, his wings disappearing behind him. "It's risky because it's too early." I looked up at the darkening sky, it was a little late now, but still.
"It's all right, we live above the forest," he said with a grin and pulled his shirt over his head.
He took my hand and led me to the side of my house, and when I came out of the trees, I saw someone waiting on my terrace. It took me a moment to figure out that it was Darren.
