"Cissy! Cissy!" I cried out in a frenzy via Walter's phone.

A loud bang followed before the connection was abruptly severed. She dropped the phone and then turned it off, but I could still clearly hear Xanne's voice in the background.

What could be the reason for her reluctance to call me? Why is she hiding from me?

I don't mean anything bad, if only she wanted to confide in me about the assignment she has to complete, then I'm more than willing to help her with it. As long as she is with me, I am ready to follow her to the end of this world....
