He was stunned when she kissed him and could not return the kiss. She must have noticed his reluctance because she stopped and looked down in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She said, fiddling with her fingers.

Gently, he cupped her jaw, forcing her to look up back at him. "There is nothing to be sorry about. I was just taken aback by your boldness."
