The buzzing of the phone didn’t let me get a good night's rest.

 

I could hear it in my sleep.

 

I strained to open my eyes as my hand searched for my phone on the lamp stand, I barely held it from hitting the floor. The light from the phone was so bright that I almost got blinded.
