I stopped in the doorway, hand flying to my mouth.
The room was transformed. Dozens of candles flickered on every surface, casting warm golden light across the walls. Rose petals scattered across the bed, the floor, creating a path to where we'd spend our first night as an engaged couple. Soft music played the song from our first wedding.
