Bernard was out of breath by the time he got to Wunmex Apparel and Bridals. He had been rushing all morning to get his work done on time so he could dedicate the rest of the day to his wife-to-be. His wife-to-be, that sure had a nice ring to it, and when he thought of that wife-to-be being Marissa, an unmistakable feeling of happiness and contentment just enveloped him. The fact that the wait would soon be over and he would finally have her to himself gave him such indescribable joy.
