He released her and cleared his throat after a moment. "So, which of these would you like to try out?" He extended his hands towards the room. "The swimming pool?"

"I do not have a bathing suit," she countered

He stopped midway at  her raised eyebrow and shrugged

"Well, you can't blame a man for trying." He wished she had taken him up, though. What wouldn't he do to see her in a wet bathing suit? He should have made it a challenge, and she wouldn't back down, for sure. It's too late now, though.
