Ava was startled out of her reverie as she looked behind her to see Ruby’s furious face.

Ava looked down to see that she had indeed stopped training the binoculars on the road, as she had been doing since. As it was, Ruby had met her standing with the binoculars at her side as she stared into space. Ava looked up guiltily as she quickly readjusted the binoculars to her face, but she lowered them back when she felt Ruby glaring at her back.

She turned towards her slowly, knowing how Ruby could get when she was pissed “Ruby, I am sor..”
