The sunlight illuminated the room brightly through the slit of the curtains. Abigail’s pretty face glowed with the golden light. Her eyeballs moved left and right rapidly. The skin between her eyebrows creased slightly, and she groaned. Covering her eyes with her hand, she opened her eyes slowly in a narrow squint. She was too sluggish to wake up.
