"No," I say with a pause to tease her

Her face immediately falls making me feel bad.

"I'm teasing you," I say as I gently take her face in my hands

"I would love to be your girlfriend" I tell her with a more than enthusiastic tone of voice

She smiles at me with a childlike facial expression.

"Really?" She asks

I nod my head, assuring her.

She laughs happily before lifting me up out of the chair causing me to squeak. I quickly wrap my arms around her neck as she secures my legs around her waist.
