"What school has a fire drill and an assembly back to back?" Faith groans out with annoyance as the five of us walk down a hill towards our designated teachers

"Well, this school isn't like every other school" Bailey says

She's not wrong there.

"You look cold" Aurelia comments from beside me as the rest of our friend group continue to express their dislike for this sudden fire drill

I understand their reasoning.

It is the middle of October and it's freezing out here.

Me, being an idiot, forgot to bring a jacket today so I'm practically shivering as we make our way towards the sophomore art teacher....
