Any other girl in Iris's place would have answered back and revolted against her dad, but Iris's nature was different. She was kind-hearted, soft, and felt for others. At this stage, she didn't want to hurt her dad. She didn't want to hurt Nick, too. So she called Nick and tell him to break off their relationship in front of her dad. Later, when she'd go up to her room, she would call him up and explain to him everything. Nick's excited voice broke her thoughts as he answered her call. "Yes, babe? Missing me already?" he asked with a cheerful grin.
