"Equinox." They all chanted in unison again and the eye at the center of the Medallion seemed to come to life as it blinked and its pupils were a bright golden color.

"Esperanto." They chanted again and the whole eye began to glow brightly, a thin ray of golden light shooting out of it and heading towards me.

Before the light could hit me, Eren pushed me and jumped in front of the ray of light. The light ray hit him in the chest and created a clean hole I could see through in his chest.

He groaned and I gasped as he slowly fell to the floor.
