When he pulled up near the apartment, he said he wasn't going to come up today but wanted to ask me something.

"Um, Bella would you like to go out to lunch with me? on Saturday of course" he said after announcing that he wanted to say something.

"Lunch?" I ask as if I didn't get him right. I was confused, was it a casual thing or was he asking me out on a date.
