That night, Emily and Sandra decided to watch movies together. They were sitting on the plush sofa with a bowl of popcorn between them. It was an interesting Korean romance movie.

"Has your dad called you about Desmond?" Sandra asked amidst the movie.

"I haven't received his call. I'm still waiting. Maybe Desmond hasn't called him yet." Emily replied.

When the movie ended, Sandra excused herself to go back to her room and do a video call with her boyfriend.
