It was indeed Saturday, which meant that I had slept for an entire day without even realizing it. 

"What about your school yesterday?" I asked.

"That guy took me to school yesterday morning. We tried to wake you up, but you were out like a light. He told me not to bother you, so we went to school without you."

Lucas sulked.

I quickly said, "I'm sorry, Lucas. I was dead to the world, wasn't I? But hey, I'm feeling top-notch today. How about you and I hang out and do some fun stuff?"
