The absence of Owen from the pack had left an indelible void within me, and my heart yearned for his return. 

Initially, I had been quite reluctant to return to Owen, but witnessing his transformation compelled me to reconsider my stance. 

Besides, I was very sure that I loved him.

Soon, I heard of news that he would return this evening. 

I was then filled with fervent anticipation that consumed me throughout the day.

As the moon rose high into the night sky, and the hours drew on, I remained steadfast in my wait for Owen's arrival. Even Lucas had already fallen asleep.
