I was going to give Owen a surprise.

I hadn't expected him to say such sweet words to me when I was unconscious.

Right then, he looked at me in surprise. "Emily, you're awake."

The next second, he hugged me tightly.

I pushed him away by extending my hand forward, questioning, "You haven't answered my question. Are you serious about what you just said? Will you let me see Lucas?"
