"A deal? What deal?" I asked.

Owen looked at me and said calmly, "Come to the Bird Pack and spend a month together with me."

I found that ridiculous. "What if I say no?"

Owen replied, "You should know that you are no match for me. If you refuse to come with me, I will forcibly take Lucas away."

"You!" Anger thrummed through my veins. Owen knew my weakness. I could not say no to him at all.

But to spend a month with him? What would happen by then?

Moreover, what should I do if he took Lucas away during that period and hid him...
