Once outside, Mara couldn't help but confront Killian, who had followed her.
"Why did you intervene earlier?" she asked bluntly.
Killian smiled with a gentle smile on his face, "Aren't we seatmates? Seatmates are supposed to help each other, aren't they?"
Mara's face was not smiling, instead she was frowning in deep anger. "Don't meddle yourself in my personal life or business. We are seatmates, not soulmates," Mara retorted before walking away, leaving Killian amused by her audacity.
