A yelp diverted my attention to one of my own warriors who was pinned against the ground, her arms barely keeping the weight of the large wolf off her as he tore into her. I ran to her, making sure to be as quiet as possible so that the wolf did not hear me come up behind him. I placed one hand on his snout and the other firmly around his skull and twisted... there was a loud crack before his body went limp. I pushed his body off of her, but it was too late... she had been too severely injured, her glassy eyes...
