Calm.

It’s calm everywhere as we finally made it back to the pack.

There aren’t no kids running up and down the streets.. shops along the road to Xander’s mansion are closed.

And there are guards on every street… What in god’s name happened?

“Xander, why is everywhere so quiet?” I asked.

“Nothing, just a small rogue attack!”

I frown.

“A small rogue attack can make the largest pack so sad?”

He simply hums and increases his pace.
