Elisa Emos comes to Father Cross.

He can tell any humans, vampires, and others future.  Elisa's whole family came to Father Cross for help at different times. Father Cross has been sitting on a serious face for a long time.  Not talking. Elisa asked anxiously,

 "Father, what happened? Why are you silent?"

 Father Cross opened his glasses.  He rubbed his eyes with his thumb and middle finger and read the glasses again. He looked at Elisa with a sigh. The questions in Elisa's eyes are daring. Father Cross said,

 "My dear child. It was something I had imagined before. But it was beyond my comprehension that this would really happen."...
